A Little About Me
Hi, I’m Claire Willis Mawson and I’d love to help you plan your perfect holiday! I’m a married mum of two, based in Pontefract, and travel is genuinely my passion. With 16 years of experience in the travel industry, I’ve built up a wealth of first-hand knowledge that I love putting to good use for my clients.
My Journey in Travel
I started my travel career back in 2001 with Lunn Poly and honestly, I haven’t looked back since! I worked my way up from modern apprentice right through to running my own store in Wakefield, which I’m really proud of. Along the way I completed a 3-year NVQ in Travel and Tourism and took part in several foreign exchange and store manager training programmes, all of which gave me a brilliant grounding in every aspect of the industry.
What I’m Best At
I specialise in cruise holidays, family holidays across Europe, the Mediterranean and the Caribbean, as well as destination weddings. These are areas I genuinely love working in and where I feel I can really make a difference in finding you something special.
My Love of Travel
I practise what I preach — I absolutely love to travel! My all-time favourite destination is Jamaica. There’s something about the culture and the vibe there that just gets me every time. My dream trip would be the Maldives, with a stopover en route and a stay in a gorgeous water bungalow — one day!
